Hello GCA Supporters,

We hope this email finds you well and in high spirits! Our annual fundraiser held on October 28th at the Water Conservation Garden was a tremendous success, and we’re thrilled to share the highlights with you.

“GCA’s Best Fundraiser Ever!” 🌟

Many have raved that our recent fundraiser was not just GCA’s best but one of the most unforgettable fundraisers they’ve ever attended. It truly was a magnificent event, and we can’t wait to do it again.

Embracing the World’s Cultures 🌏

We celebrated the rich cultures of Mexico, Burundi, and Nepal, the countries where we have major projects. Our three marketplaces, brimming with goods collected from our global travels, captured the essence of these diverse places. Decorations were spectacular, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We even had adorable goats representing our work in Kaule village, Nepal! 🇲🇽🇧🇮🇳🇵

Gratitude and Acknowledgments 🙌

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and support of several key individuals and groups. Dr. Wendy Dengerink, the chief organizer, led the way. Our heartfelt thanks to all who played a role, including Pam Robinson and her food team – Deanna Verbeke, Karen Price, Julie Ball, Sandy Linneth, and Cindy Benke, our international partners, and everyone who lent a hand. Special recognition goes out to Barbara Sharif, Susan Ambrose, Robin Vincelett, Destinee Christian, Paul and Joy Marvin, Jennifer Blough, Carmen Vertullo, Pastor Josiah Elias, Tammam Tautou, the Dengerink family, our lawyer who came from Mexico to speak, Rita Marquez, Vanessa Schoenegge for bringing her goats, and Jenny Bauman and her team at the Water Conservation Garden.

Your Generosity Matters 🙏

A major shoutout to all of you who generously and sacrificially donated, both for the projects and to help underwrite the fundraiser’s cost. Your support truly makes a world of difference to those we serve across the globe. We simply wouldn’t be GCA without you.

Mexico Christmas Party 🇲🇽

The fundraiser’s success brings us great joy, but it also comes with a new challenge. We are behind on collecting toys for the children we serve in Mexico next month. These kids come from extremely poor migrant farm worker families, and we aim to bring them joy this Christmas through our annual Toy Drive.

Help Us Make a Difference This Christmas! 🎁

This year’s Christmas party is on Saturday, December 9, and we need 700 toys to ensure every child has a reason to smile. We’ve set up an Amazon Wish List to make donating toys easier for you. Simply click the link below to select and send a gift directly to us.

A good rule of thumb to make it fair for all children is to not spend more than $15 per toy. Some great examples of toys we need that can easily be purchased in multiples are soccer balls in bulk (we need at least 250-300!), Barbie dolls, infant toys, Hot Wheel cars, games, craft kits with Spanish instructions, puzzles, art kits, and more. Please ensure all toys are new and unwrapped.

Your support means the world to us, and together, we can make this Christmas unforgettable for these children. 🤗

Thank you for your continued support and generosity. Let’s spread the joy and warmth of the holiday season to those who need it most.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Niles and the Global Care Alliance team
